Perth Road Runners
The club was established in 1985 - soon after Jim McAndrew and Bill Crabb invited local runners to join them in regular training nights. They met at the Perth Fitness Centre, gradually increasing in numbers over the years. When the Fitness Centre closed, they moved to Bells Sports Centre. Then followed the floods of '92 which closed Bells for quite some time. The club moved to the Letham Centre. By 1989 there were enough members to become affiliated to the Scottish A.A.A. . We returned to Bells in 2001.

Achilles Heel
Achilles Heel in 2000 and was based in Decourcys Arcade in the West End of Glasgow. We gradually expanded and eventually had to move to the larger premises where we are now located on Great Western Road.
The name Achilles Heel came about after the owner, Katie Alexander ruptured her achilles during a marathon. The name of the shop is a permanent reminder along with the huge scar to go with it.
