Thanks for a great 10k I had a PB my daughter in law was first lady and my son second in the 1/2 marathon. My son did comment that when the race winner broke away he found his way was blocked by back markers and one woman put her arms out to stop him getting by.May this area needs to be looked at particulary for the elite runners

This race was well organised from start to finish,The organisers of the Edinburgh half should take note. The sharp turn at the end took the wind out the sails a bit. There were photographers around but cant see any photos on the web page.Good organisation at the start/finish area, even with a false start it took no time to get everyone back in line. The water stations, band, marshals toilet provisions, goodie bags, and all the other helpers were superb. Very good idea getting the timing chip and number by post, no queues on the day.I have run Edinburgh, Dunfermline, Alloa this year and this is up there with the best, enen though i missed my predicted time by 20 seconds. The family enjoyed the whole day,So keep up the good work and we look forward to next year.

Third EK Half. Congratulations (again) on a well organised event. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of efficiently run water stations - well done guys. Nice touch with the pipe band to add a bit of atmosphere on the course.

Another great day, another good turn out, this is my 5th time running an it just gets better every year. Plaque instead of medal was a nice touch for the anniversary and will take pride of place in my collection. As others have said disappointed with onlooker turnout, maybe a prize for best costume would bring EK out to watch. As always very well organised and marshalled.....COME ON 2010!!!

Very well organised with excellent facilities at the Sports Centre. A big thanks to the organisers, sponsors and all the volunteers and helpers round the route. Ran the Edinburgh Marathon at the end of May and they could learn a lot from this race. Beat my anticipated time by over 2 minutes. Only minor criticism would be the false start and the sharp turn into the trees leading to the Sports Centre near the finish.
